Come and visit
We are happy to arrange a visit to our school, ideally between 3:30 and 5:00pm on all weekdays, except Wednesdays. For your first visit, we recommend that you come without your child in order for us to take the time to show you the classroom, explain the Montessori method and answer your questions. We can, of course, arrange another visit so that your child can discover and explore our “Children’s House”. Kindly contact us to make an individual appointment.
The next steps
According to the regulations of the School Authorities of Geneva (DIP), we can accept children from the age of 2.8 years and up to 6+ years of age. A child must be 3 years old by 31st December of the current school year to commence at the beginning of the same school year. Children whose 3rd birthday falls after this date, may only commence in our school once he or she has reached 3 years of age. If the age requirement is met, a child may commence in our school at any time during the school year.
If you have decided to enrol your child in our school, we will send you our terms and conditions as well as our registration form. Completion of the enrolment agreement with the payment of our registration fee and the first month’s school fees will secure your child’s place at “Little Birds”.
Before your child’s commencement date, we will take the time to give you advice on preparing your child for the first day at school. Our aim is to ensure the whole process is smooth and filled with enthusiasm.
